About Adjoa
One thing you'll quickly notice about my teaching style is that I don't believe in memorizing answers, I believe in understanding the exam. My classes are structured, practical, and results-oriented. I focus on helping you understand why an answer is correct, how examiners assess your performance, and what strategies consistently produce high scores. I expect active participation. You'll practise, make mistakes, receive detailed feedback, and improve with every lesson. I will challenge you because growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone. I also believe in honesty. If your English proficiency is holding you back, I'll tell you. If your strategy is the problem, I'll tell you that too. My goal isn't to make you feel comfortable, it's to help you achieve the score you need. In my classes, we focus on: Understanding the scoring criteria. Building strong exam strategies. Expanding practical vocabulary and grammar. Developing confidence under timed conditions. Correcting recurring mistakes before test day. I encourage questions because there is no such thing as a silly question. If you're confused, ask. Chances are someone else has the same question. Finally, remember that I can guide you, provide proven strategies, and give constructive feedback, but your success depends on the effort you put in outside the classroom. Consistent practice, discipline, and a willingness to learn will always lead to improvement. If you're committed to the process, I'm committed to helping you reach your target score.
