CELTESTPIP courses are structured learning paths that teach CELPIP strategies and skills in a step-by-step format. Each course is divided into sections covering specific topics, task types, and scoring criteria. Unlike practice questions that test existing knowledge, courses explain strategies, break down what raters look for, and build skills progressively. Progress is tracked automatically across devices.
Courses teach strategies and skills. Practice questions test what you already know with instant feedback. Mock exams simulate the full test experience under timed conditions. The recommended approach is: complete the relevant course first, then apply what you learned through practice questions, and finally test yourself with mock exams.
Course length varies depending on the topic and your study pace. Each course has multiple sections that you can complete at your own speed. Some users finish a course in a few focused study days. Others spread it over one to two weeks. There is no time limit, and your progress is saved automatically.
Within a single course, following the sections in order is recommended because each section builds on the previous one. Between different courses, you can choose any order based on your needs. If your Speaking score is lower than your Reading score, start with the Speaking course.
Yes. Course progress syncs to your account automatically. You can start a section on your laptop, switch to your phone, and continue from where you left off. Completed sections are marked automatically on all devices.

Start with the course for the CELPIP section you want to improve. Learn the strategies and scoring criteria. Then use practice questions to apply those strategies with instant AI feedback. Once you feel confident, take full mock exams under timed conditions to test your performance. Return to specific course sections whenever you need to review a strategy.
Start with the skill that is furthest from your target. If you need CLB 9 everywhere and your Writing sits at 7 while Listening is already at 9, the Writing course will move your file more than anything else. Not sure where you stand? Answer a few practice questions in each skill first and compare your estimated levels.
CELPIP Writing Course (15 lessons). How Writing is scored, fast planning, the Task 1 email and the Task 2 survey response, coherence, vocabulary, readability, Task Fulfillment and tone, timing drills, the common errors, two template lessons and Canadian writing conventions. It has 10 videos.
CELPIP Speaking Course (15 lessons). Scoring, fast planning, a listenability toolkit for rhythm and pausing, vocabulary for speaking, one lesson for each of the 8 tasks, fluency and pronunciation, and the common errors. It has 11 videos.
CELPIP Listening Course (13 lessons). Test mechanics, the question types, core listening skills, one lesson for each of the 6 parts, a paraphrase and vocabulary toolkit, answer elimination and a test day playbook.
CELPIP Reading Course (12 lessons). Test mechanics, the 3 question types, core reading skills, one lesson for each of the 4 parts, pacing minute by minute, a paraphrase toolkit, answer elimination and a test day playbook. Reading videos are being added part by part.

CELPIP Vocabulary Foundations (12 lessons). How vocabulary raises your score: collocations, meaning from context, word families, near synonyms, paraphrasing, tone and register, linking words, idioms and Canadian English.

Yes. All six courses on CELTESTPIP are free, every lesson included. What Pro adds is practice: the full mock exams and AI scoring beyond the free submissions. A good routine is one lesson, then the practice set for that skill, then the next lesson.
Each lesson takes about 3 to 18 minutes to read. Writing and Speaking are a little over two hours of reading each, plus their videos; Listening is under two hours and Reading about 80 minutes. Most people spread one course over a week or two, doing one lesson a day with practice after it.
A course teaches you the method at your own pace and costs nothing. A class or a private teacher adds what a course cannot: someone listening to your answers and correcting you in real time. If you have tried the course and practice and your Speaking or Writing will not move, that is the moment to book a CELPIP teacher.
