How do I find a CELPIP teacher on CELTESTPIP?

Browse the teacher directory on this page and open any profile to see the teacher's experience, languages, the skills they help with, and their price per class. When you find a good fit, press Send class request and add a short message. The teacher gets an email, and once they accept, they can see your practice results and contact you to plan lessons. You need a free CELTESTPIP account to send a request.

Can I invite my own CELPIP teacher?

Yes. If you already work with a teacher or tutor, type their email in the invite box at the top of this page. They get an email from CELTESTPIP, and once they accept with a free account under that email, they can follow your practice. Your teacher does not need to be listed in the directory, and inviting them is free.

What can my teacher see after we connect?

Your teacher gets read-only access to your practice: your progress over time, your results by part in each skill, your mock exam scores, and your Speaking and Writing submissions. They also see your name, email, and test date so they can contact you. They cannot change anything in your account or see your payment details. You can remove a teacher at any time, and their access ends right away.

How much does a CELPIP teacher cost?

Each teacher sets their own price and class length, and both are shown on their profile. Sending a class request or inviting a teacher is free, and CELTESTPIP takes no commission, so the full amount you pay goes to your teacher. You agree on the price and schedule directly with them.

How are lessons booked and paid for?

After a teacher accepts your request, they contact you by email to agree on times, format, and price. Lessons and payment happen directly between you and the teacher, not through CELTESTPIP. Teachers in the directory are independent, so agree on payment and cancellation terms in writing before your first lesson.

Are the teachers on CELTESTPIP reviewed?

Yes. Our team reviews every teacher profile by hand before it appears in the directory, so you know you are contacting a real CELPIP teacher. A review is not a guarantee of results, so compare a few profiles and ask about their experience before you book. A teacher with a full schedule can pause new requests, and their profile then shows that they are not taking new students.

Do I or my teacher need CELTESTPIP Pro?

No. Inviting a teacher, sending a class request, and following a student's progress all work with free accounts. The one exception is on the teacher's side: opening the full report for a Speaking or Writing submission needs Pro.

What is the difference between a CELPIP teacher and the AI CELPIP Coach?

A teacher is a real person who gives you lessons, plans your study, and reviews your progress with you. The AI CELPIP Coach is a chat assistant on CELTESTPIP that answers your CELPIP questions at any time of day. Many test takers use both: the AI Coach and instant scoring for daily practice, and a teacher for live lessons and accountability.

How do I become a CELPIP teacher on CELTESTPIP?

Go to Join as a teacher and create your profile. Listing is free, with no joining fee and no commission, and you keep everything you charge. We review each profile by hand, usually within a day, and email you when it is live in the directory.

Can I find an online CELPIP tutor here?

Yes. You plan classes directly with the teacher, so you can work online with a teacher in another city or time zone. Each profile shows the teacher's time zone, and you agree on the class format and times after they accept your request.

How does connecting with a CELPIP teacher work?

  1. You connect. Send a class request from a teacher's profile, or type your own teacher's email in the invite box at the top of this page.
  2. Your teacher accepts. They get an email and accept from a free CELTESTPIP account. Once they do, they appear under Your teachers on this page.
  3. They follow your practice. From then on, your teacher has read-only access to your results and can contact you to plan lessons.
  4. You stay in control. You can remove a teacher at any time, and their access ends right away.

Opening the full report for a Speaking or Writing submission needs a Pro account on the teacher's side.

Your teacher cannot change anything in your account, and they never see your payment details.

How do I choose the right CELPIP tutor?

  • Match your weakest skill. If Speaking is holding back your CLB level, pick a teacher whose profile lists Speaking under Helps with. Your CELPIP mock test results show which skill is furthest from your target.
  • Compare price and class length. Each profile shows the price per class and how long a class runs. Ask how lessons work, for example video calls, written feedback, or both.
  • Check experience and languages. Years of experience, the teacher's own CELPIP level, and their credentials are useful signals. A teacher who speaks your first language can sometimes explain a grammar point faster.
  • Watch the intro video and ask questions. Before you pay for a lesson, ask how they would help you reach your target level and by when.

How do lessons and payment work?

CELTESTPIP connects you with your teacher. It does not run the lessons or take payment for them. After a teacher accepts, they email you to agree on times, format, and price, and you pay the teacher directly. CELTESTPIP takes no commission, so the full amount you pay goes to your teacher. How can I get more out of CELPIP lessons?

A teacher can help most when there is fresh practice to look at. Before each lesson, do a few timed questions in the skill you are working on, and take a full CELPIP mock test every week or two so your teacher can see whether your level is moving.
